Mom's Birthday

Sarah and I flew to Utah last weekend to celebrate my Mom's birthday. It was the first time in many years that all 5 children were together at the same time with my parents. Dad treated us to a lovely dinner at the Roof Restaurant in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Friday evening. Saturday afternoon was a celebration at Jones Cottage that included grandkids. It was so much fun to be there!

Carlsbad with Cousins

My brother and his family were spending their Spring Break in Carlsbad this last week. We drove down to visit them for the day. It was fun to see them and let all the kids play together. We haven't been together since last July. On the way down, we stopped at a recently opened Cafe Rio in Lake Forest for lunch. Yummy!
