I can't believe how fast she is growing and changing. She is a happy baby who puts up with a lot of noise and commotion around here.

Blessing Day

Sarah's blessing day was wonderful. Dave gave her a beautiful blessing. We had both sets of grandparents, Dave's sister and family, and 2 of my cousins and kids. It was fun to be together with family, and let the cousins (and 2nd cousins) play.

Fablehaven

I heard that the author of Fablehaven was going to be signing books at our local Border's bookstore, and thought it would be fun to go. Ryan had just started reading the series, and Amber had read some, too. We kind of had a connection with the author (Brandon Mull), because he grew up in this area and in our stake. I went to Border's in the morning, right when they opened so I could get a wrist band for the book signing. When we came back in the evening, we were able to be in the first group to line up to see him. We had 3 books for him to sign, and he also gave the kids signed posters. Ryan even came away with a Fablehaven t-shirt that one of the Border's employees gave him. It was a fun night.
