We decided to go to the beach at the last minute this morning. There was a group from our ward down at Zuma beach. I think there were at least 15 families that were there. It was a bit cool and breezy, but everyone still had a fun time. Jared continued his tradition of wandering off to the life guard tower. We have to keep an eye on him.
Julia was happy that someone buried her in the sand and sculpted it to look like a mermaid!
A guy in our ward likes to do sand sculptures. He spends the whole day working on them. Today he was sculpting an elephant, and when he had a lot of it complete - all of a sudden it just fell and the whole front side collapsed. It was sad.

It was so fun to see you this weekend! The beach sounds nice. That sand sculpturing thing is so cool!
Thank you for coming! Super impressive elephant!
Such fun!! Lucky you to live so close to the beach! Love and miss you ALL! MOM
We should have come! But then Johnny would have been blamed for the collapse of the sand sculpture. Glad he was no where around.
Love the pic of Jared skipping. One of these years we will make it to Zuma with everyone. It looks like fun.
That did look fun. Thanks for hosting book club. I hope your husband reunion was great!
